We will start your 7 days Ouarzazate to Marrakech sahara trip with a pick up in Ouarzazate, then drive to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it’s a location for numerous movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and the famous one is Game Of Thrones, and many more.

After lunch in Ait Ben Haddou village, continue to Dades Gorges via Ouarzazate through the ” Road of the thousand Kasbahs “. Arrive at evening, spend the night in a Hotel/Riad in Dades Gorges.

On your second day, after breakfast and a shower, you will depart from Dades Valley and head towards Todra Gorges.

Known as one of the most beautiful and impressive canyons in Morocco, Todra Gorges are so narrow they are likened to a human throat.

You will have time to walk through the canyon, enjoying the sights and sounds of the river flowing through.

From Todra Gorges, you will continue towards Merzouga, passing through breathtaking landscapes and numerous palm tree oases.

You’ll pass through the small town of Erfoud, where you will feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, before continuing to Merzouga.

Depending on your arrival time, you may either relax before the camel trek or start it right away to spend the night in a Berber camp in the desert.

The camel trek typically begins around 5:00-6:00 PM, lasting about an hour. Upon arrival at the camp, you will marvel at the Sahara dunes and sunset.

You will be welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea, followed by dinner in the main tent (restaurant). After dinner, enjoy desert music played by locals and a campfire.

After breakfast in the camp and camel trek back to Merzouga, we will start our explorative day of Merzouga desert, driving through the desert on a 4×4 vehicle.

We will also have an opportunity to visit a nomadic family close to the borders between Morocco and Algeria before we head to the village of dark skinned people, originally slaves from Sudan, listen to Gnaoua music and experience their lifestyle. Overnight in the hotel.

After breakfast in the hotel, we will start our journey to Fes around 8:30 am, travel along the Ziz Valley. We will stop in a panoramic view.

Lunch will be in Midelt, then continue driving, we might be able to catch a glimpse of the Barbary apes that live in the cedar forest of Azrou. Our next destination will be Ifrane, called also Switzerland of Morocco, we will have a stop here before we head to Fes. Overnight in your Hotel/Riad.

After breakfast in your Riad, we will start our visitation of Fes, the oldest city of Morocco, and one of the four imperial cities. We will spend most of the day in the old part of Fes ( the medina ) walking in its narrow streets.

Visit the Royal Palace Gate known for its golden gate, your visit includes the University Of Al Quaraouyine, the oldest existing. After lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant in the medina, we will visit the famous Tanneries and the Jewish quarter before we go back to your Riad. Overnight in your Riad.

After breakfast in your Riad, we will drive to Chefchaouen via the city of Ouazzan. Arrive around Noon, and then start exploring Chefchaouen, known as “blue city” or blue pearl of Chefchaouen.

This city is a fabulous destination for photographers, due to its white and blue washed walls, we will have a walk inside the medina to enjoy the beautiful buildings of this city. Overnight in your hotel.

After breakfast in your hotel, we will head to Casablanca, where we will visit the Hassan II Mosque, the biggest mosque after Mecca, we will have lunch near the Cornish Coast before we go to Marrakech, drop you off at airport or your hotel.
